I know I've been asked to not write about filmings, but there is one thing that I feel compelled to mention.
At one of the filming masterclasses for this quarter, there was something that happened which was absolutely astonishing. Myself and others were left speechless, and not in a good way.
The conduct of one of the presenters at this particular filming was truly despicable. With the camera rolling, they called out on one of the participants in a manner which was deliberately meant to be sarcastic and hurtful. It quite frankly was immature and unprofessional.
If I think of an equivalent presenter from my program... say a Glen Ostergaard or a Lee Smith... if they had called me out the same way, I would have been in tears. After all, I'm only teaching their program, right? Participating in the filming was a way of demonstrating my enthusiasm and passion for their program, right?
It might have been a fleeting moment in some peoples minds, but I know the way I felt after the BODYJAM 53 filming. What happened to me at that filming simply pales in comparison, and I know that I haven't really enjoyed a filming to that insane euphoric level ever since. Since then, it's just been a mild appreciation.
In my mind, it was the only thing that blighted an otherwise successful filming round.
