Out of all of the filmings on the day, Body Step was the standout.
Five presenters - Mark Nu'u, Sarah Robinson, Lisa Osborne, Nate from the USA, and a milestone presenter as far as I'm concerned; the fabulous Georgina (George) Clark.

In my opinion, George is THE best Attack and Step instructor out there. I was talking to my physio about how she doesn't really get selected for presenting on releases since she's an instructor who really shines when she's presenting to members, as opposed to other instructors. The same goes for Amy Styles - George and Amy are two of the quirkiest instructors I know of, though filming cues are scripted and presenters are basically told that there are things they HAVE to say.
I watched George present two tracks and I had the biggest grin on my face.
This fellow also had a big grin on his face, but you couldn't tell.

Haaaa!
As you can see from the pictures, the set for Body Step is VERY different compared to all other previous filmings. A moonscape background was printed especially for the Body Step filming, and it was hung up on the back wall. The theme for the release is 'Lift Off', and aside from visually looking impressive, it appears to be an incredibly fun release. The highlight for me is the speed step track which George presents (although I might be a bit biased here, hee!)
The girls presenting - Lisa, Sarah, and George - were wearing black halterneck pinstripe dresses with a sewn-in white tie. I LOVE Sarah's hair for this release; her hair is super spiked like a blonde hedgehog. There are some hairstyles that only Sarah Robinson can pull off and this one is definitely one of them. Mark and Nate wore pinstriped suit short-pants, black vests, black ties with short sleeved white shirts. I don't know how well you can see from the photos, but on one of their arms, both the men have this silver shoulder thing on it. It ties in quite nicely into the spacely theme of the release.
There are some incredible, inspired song choices in this release - some tracks you're like, "What??? Oh my god!!! HOW can they not have done this track before, it's so PERFECT!!!"
I must say, I felt a wee bit cheated with the ankle strapped, not being able to go anywhere near the participant crowd of the filming class. The energy from the music and choreography was incredible - I haven't seen a Step filming so vibrant and buzzalicious before.
That's a sign that this release is a real ripper, and everyone on the stage and on the floor knew that. They've done good with this one :-D

I'm glad you got to see some of it, it was amaaaazing! So freaking hot in that studio though. I was glad George was in this release too, I think this is the best Step presenting team that I've seen yet.
I can't see myself in any of your photos :-)
Oh my gosh it was like a sauna in there! It was even worse for Body Jam at 2pm when they had the freaking smoke machine going O_O
I agree with you, the team that presented this release are brilliant :-D
I'll have to make sure I get closer to where you are next time so you end up in some of the photos! ;-)
Hang on... there's a *smoke machine* for BodyJam? God, what else did Mr G pull out for this release? LOL
Be patient, Patrick, all will be revealed ;-) (well not... 'all'... but 'more' will be revealed!)
I agree with you that George is the best Step and Attack instructor in my opinion! But I’m definitely biased as I’m rooting for my coach! ^_^
I have never done so many step classes in one week! 5 classes in 5 days with Body Pump 70 every other day! I saw Susan participated in all those step classes, I think she was giving feedback to the Step team! I don’t know how she managed to also teach 2 pump classes a day for pump filming practice last week! The squat and lunges were bloody hard!
I love Body Step 76! All the tracks are fun and yet challenging! I admit I tend to cheat a little during the push ups track, opting for easier options when George is not looking my way!
I was a little gutted that I couldn’t attend the filming as I have friends visiting from Taiwan! Lucky that I got to see the photos from your blog! ^_^
Heheehehe, biased or not, she's awesome, and it's about time she appeared on a Step DVD. Now it's a matter of time before she appears on Attack and Pump! :-D
I think 'little gutted' is an understatement, yes? ;-) You were much too nice a host, I would've totally abandoned my visitors to attend the filmings, haaaaa! But thenagain, it's common knowledge that I'm not friendly :-P
I don't blame you for cheating during BS76, it looked like one hard release, but so much fun - can't wait until I get back into Step myself and I get to give it a go (I have no idea how Susan does it O_O She's a machine!)
George appeared on a couple of step and attack DVDs a few years ago! If I remembered it correctly, she was one of the presenters on one of the pump DVD as well!
It has been a while since the last time she appeared on a step DVD, so it’s great to have her presenting step again! My favourite step presenting team was Body Step 65, when both George and Susan were part of the presenting team! ^_^
Oh MAN I wish I was around for those releases, I would've loved to have seen George onstage - I can imagine that you would've been beside yourself with delight for 65 with George and Susan presenting together :-D (I don't think I would be able to control myself either :-D)
