I explained to Adam about the foot, and he gave me the hard word that I would really need to look at giving up my high impact classes for a while. What I'm also worried about is that it'll hurt in RPM as well, when I do the Standy Uppy Bits for the hill climbs. If that's the case, then I'm really having to scale it back to - like Noelle said - Pump and Balance. Argh! And I here I was, babbling on about wanting to see more of BC40 and BJ49. I guess I'll just need to wing it and lurk down the back of the filmings. *grumble*
Adam was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of choice he had today. For 25 minutes of the 30 minute session, Adam and I had the gym to ourselves. We did some single legged calf raises (which are BLOODY hard - I'm picking that they might be a teensy bit sore tomorrow), and they were a bit harder on the left leg then they were on the right.
We also did some very interesting single arm rows, where instead of positioning myself using a bench, I was kneeling on the floor with my arm extended on a swiss ball. I tell you, such hard work for the core. I don't think I'd ever even know that such exercises existed if it weren't for Adam constantly showing me how to get maximum value out of the equipment from the gym. (And yet I always seem to be doing classes? Hmmm!)
Adam's off on leave for the next month - he flies out on Wednesday, so I'm instead having my 6am session with him on Monday. Judes, if you're reading, that means no Pump on Monday for me, although I don't think Susan's teaching, so it's probably just as well then :-D
To think, my next workout will be on Christmas morning. Where the hell has this year gone? It may be considered sad, but I really hoped to have achieve more this year, fitness wise. Hopefully 2009 will be better for me in that regard.
