I had a grand master plan to get up in the morning and do a lower back circuit. Imagine my horror then as I rolled over in my bed, looked at the time on my cellphone, and it read 5:45am. I had planned on getting up at 5am! Good gawd!

As a result, my lower back circuit was drastically shortened. I did about 20 minutes worth of exercise, which I suppose is better than nothing.

At the end of the day, I was determined not to miss out on the second circuit for the day. Though, the problem with Mondays is that the gym is absolutely packed. Its impossible to get a treadmill, an elliptical, a stairclimber, or a rower. Pretty much the only exercise machine you can get is a bike.

How to combat this?

Attend the first half hour of Body Jam. Nice little 30 minutes of cardio right there. And I enjoyed being in Dion and Vanessa's class, even though Dion made a raft of mistakes with teaching the choreography - poor Vanessa, his partner, who is a newbie Jam instructor was all like, "HUH?", you could tell that she was confused! To my joy, he did the hip hop block from 44 which I so enjoyed him teach on Saturday.

After Body Jam, I did a slightly rejigged version of the circuit that Adam had done up for me. It was pretty damn good.

Hopefully, from now on in, there will be no sleeping in!
